Position:
Agriculture Extension Specialist (BPS-19) + Incentive Allowance or PPS-09
Compensation:
- Salary Range: Rs. 306,250 – 502,250
- Annual Increment: Up to 8%
- Incentive Allowance as applicable

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (MSc) with Honors or a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Agriculture from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Proven experience in project management.
Experience:
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in managing projects and organizations related to Agriculture, Agriculture Research and Development, development agencies, or consultancy assignments addressing various agricultural and economic issues in value addition sectors.
Age Limit: Up to 55 years
Mode of Recruitment:
Recruitment will be conducted among officers currently serving in the Agriculture Department (Extension & AR Wing) of the Punjab Government. The selection will be based on a competitive process for officers in BPS-19 with applicable Incentive Allowance or in PPS-09.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, test, and prepare production technologies and packages for various crops within the agriculture sector.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills, with experience in presenting complex agricultural information in an accessible manner for non-specialist audiences.
- Be well-versed with policy and strategy documents created by public sector or development agencies for policy and institutional reforms in Pakistan/Punjab, focusing on economic factors and their impacts.
- Exhibit strong communication and computer skills in both English and Urdu.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
